A Guy with the Right Attitude (on this issue)
I get the impression he might be a little less polite about it.

Dropped in to see how the shoe fight is going. Looks like you're off to the races...

Now...

I defy the world.

I believe it is self-evident truth that people should have the option to keep shoes on in the house--unless they've just stepped in something.

What if you've got to go outside to get some wood? What if a bad guy barges into your house? You need to have good traction. Fighting bare-foot is not recommended for the average joe.

What if the house caught on fire?

What if there were an earthquake?

What if? What if?

Shoes are good things.

Besides, I'm a tenderfoot.

Wilsford, actually, I wrote most of these posts months ago on my main blog. Thanks for visiting.

John,
'I believe it is self-evident truth that people should have the option to keep shoes on in the house--unless they've just stepped in something.'

Well, it slipped past a lot of people in China and India.

'What if you've got to go outside to get some wood?' Does it take you that long to put on your shoes? Get some of those slip-on garden clogs.

'What if a bad guy barges into your house? You need to have good traction. Fighting bare-foot is not recommended for the average joe.' Do you wear shoes in bed, then? People are always vulnerable when burgled. Thats why you Yanks have the valuable right to keep weapons handy for that evenuality.

'What if the house caught on fire?'
Again same problem if you are in bed. You might just ave to go out in your slippers.

'What if there were an earthquake?' That does not seem to worry the Japanese, who have more earthquakes than anyone else.

You do think about the worst eventualities.

Shoes are good things, I agree. Outside. Slippers are good. Inside.

Every Blessing in Christ
