Sorry, Matthew, but I have a nomination for your weekly National Etiquette Award.

My aunt works for the United Nations and has basically travelled all over the world. She lived in NYC for over 12 years. Last year she was stationed to Guyana for a 4 year contract. She had a meeting in NYC this past weekend, that is why mom and I went up there to visit with her.

Anyways, as I was chatting with her about Guyana, she happened to mentioned that it is considered offensif if you do not remove your shoes at the door in that country.

My thoughts immeditely went to you. So I hereby nominate Guyana for this weeks' National Etiquette Award! Hope you don't mind my nomination.

Thanks and God bless,
Sarah

I just wanted to share a little story with you. It has rained quite a bit over the past few days here and rain always means that the walkways have worms all over them. As I was walking to my car tonight after class I could not help but think that in all of the distance that I had to walk from the classroom to my car that I would probably end up stepping on a worm and then I would have worm guts on my shoes. The shoes came off at the door!

Sarah, thanks for the suggestion.

I ma aware of this. A lot of people in Guyan are originally from the Indian subcontinent.

I shall keep Guynana in mind.

Angie, very good point.

Angie, if you have some good ideas for posts for this blog, I woudl happily make you a team member. The same goes for Sarah, if she has some ideas.

Every Blessing in Christ

I have a short list of post ideas written down. I have a team blog that nobody else has posted anything to yet, and it is really starting to annoy me. I will try not to do that to you.

Thanks, Angie. I have fifteen posts planned. But I will look forward to reading your stuff.

God Bless

Yes, my auntie explained to me all about the indo-guyanese and the afro-guyanese. Very interesting.

Lord willing, I shall be visiting her this Christmas. She found a King James Church very big on evangelizing. I would love to join them with their tract passing!

It's wonderfult that Angie has joined your team, but Sarah has no interesting ideas on this topic. Are you certain you want me to? Thanks for the invite though!! I promise to still be a regular on this blog.

Sarah, I am very grateful to you for your regular visits. However, I would not want you to become a member unless you had things to say on the subject.

God Bless

Matthew

Well then, I will just comment on things of this subject posted by you and Angie.

It's nice that you are slowly but surely changing the world!!

I hope I am, but I am not so sure. Hopefully it will be easier with Angie on board.
