You are all so Quiet

I know from the site meter that there are a lot of you who are visiting and never leaving comments. It would be nice to hear from you guys.

This blog allows anonymous comments and non-registered users, so you there is no reason for you not to comment.

You are welcome to argue with us.

Maybe you agree with us? Well, we do like to be encouraged some times.

Still no comments from the mysterious silent types who visit.

I guess they do not care to reveal their identities to the world at this time. That's really a shame. We know they're out there!

I didn't realize this blog allowed comments from non-users. I agree with you guys. My carpet was brand new when I moved into this apartment three years ago. That was when I started the no-shoes rule, and it really does keep everything cleaner. Now that I'm in the habit of walking in just my socks, I'll never go back to wearing shoes in the house. Stocking feet are much more comfortable!

JB, thanks for commenting. I am glad you remove your shoes.

Just a couple of questions:

Do you ask visitors to remove their shoes?

Do you visit here often?

God Bless

You will have had a post from me (richyrich) a few weeks ago when I said about the cleaning lady who took off her shoes as soon as she entered my home. Well since then she has continued with that good habit and done a great job every time.

Unfortunately however I've had a few other trades people coming who have failed to take the hint, so at the moment I'm not sure how to deal with such situations.

Anyway I will try and participate more in discussions in future, sharing as I do your goal of encouraging shoe removal in homes

If you've forgotten your password, what can be done about it? Can you change it and if so how?

I usually don't ask visitors to remove their shoes, mainly because they do so without my asking. Pretty much everyone who visits me are close friends and family. I don't do much entertaining.

Typically, I read your blog a couple times a week or so.

Anonymous, I recall that comment. It is great to hear from thee.

You could just ask trades people nicely to remove their shoes, but if they are workmen, they may have to keep their shoes on for health and safety reasons.

Is that the same anonymous? I think blogger has a password retrieval system.

JB, it is great that you are a regular visitor. I do appreciate your reading.

God Bless

Matthew

Yes it is the same "Anonymous" in both postings. I've been trying to see if there are any instructions about a passowrd retreival system but can't find any. I'll keep looking anyway.

I thought there was something about it on the blogger homepage.
