I am alive and well in Japan

I am, alive and well in Japan. As might be expected I am in my socks on a tatami floor.

I will post more when I get the opportunity.

Glad to hear from you and that you're ok. I bet it's nice to be in an environment and culture where shoeless homes is the norm and I'm sure you'll all the more enthusiastic about preaching the cause to British people when you come back home.

Todd, thanks.

Richyrich, good to hear from you. I am glad you are visiting in my absence.

I had two visit a couple of kindergartens today. I had to take my boots off. They give plastic slippers to visitors. In one, the children and staff wore slippers, in the other, they did not.

I bet the tatami floor is very comfortable to walk upon.
