The Lodger

Our lodger moved in last night.

I told her how fussy I am about shoes being removed and she is fine about that.

As it happens, our lodger has a lodger living in her own house in Manchester and she asks her to remover her shoes.

Glad that your lodger has the right attitude about shoe removal!

Thanks.

Did you tell your lodger about your shoes off policy before she decided to move in and if so how long before?

I did not.

All the negotiations with the lodger were done by my parents. They did not request any such thing.

She came in last week to collect a key.

I did not ask her to remove her shoes when she came in, but I asked her to take them off before we went upstairs for another look at her room.

When she moved in yesterday, she took her shoes off coming in. In conversation later I mentioned to her that removing shoes was something I was fussy about and she told me about her own lodger.

God Bless

Matthew

So I take it that she will now take off her shoes all the time when she's in the house.

So far she has and I am sure she will continue to do so.
