New couple at our home fellowship meeting

A new twenty-something couple joined our home fellowship group yesterday evening.

They removed their shoes when they came into the house in which we meet. That followed the normal pattern at the meeting of the younger people removing their shoes and the older people keeping them on.

Just curious...did they remove their shoes because they saw that others had, or do they already observe a shoes-off policy in their own home.

More and more people in the younger age groups (my wife and I are in our late 20s) seem to be adopting shoes-off policies in their homes. I know several of our friends, and some of co-workers practice this. It is a promising trend.

I dont know.

I was the only one to arrive before them, so there was only my shoes at the door. The hostess who answered the door had shoes on.

They did walk their in the dark, so I suppose their shoes might have picked up some nasty dirt.

On the other hand, they had recently moved into their new house in Worcester, so maybe they have a shoes-off policy.

God Bless
