More Guests

I had a couple of young ladies visit the house this evening.

One was polite enough to offer to remove her shoes. The other protested that her feet were smelly, but she took her shoes off anyway.

So I take it that you didn't have to ask any of them first to take off their shoes. And did you notice any bad smell coming from the direction of the second lady's feet?

No, I did not have to ask.

And I did not notice any bad smell at all.

Well good for you...your friends seem to have understood that you prefer shoes not be worn in your home....had either of them visited before or did they offer to remove their shoes without any proding from you...intersting that one of them protested slightly and then removed her shoes with out further ado...down here in the south we find more people automatically removing their shoes when they visit us

Glad to hear that, there's no doubt that a lot of people think that their feet smell more than they actually do. And of course as I have said here before, if people spend a lot of their time without shoes, then their feet will get to smell LESS as they get more of a chance to breathe/

Richyrich, absolutely right.

Bob, good to know people are taking their shoes off at your home.

Neither had visited.

One attends my home fellowship group and removes her shoes there. The other followed her friend's prompting.

God Bless
