Yummy Mummies (I hate that term)

These days, one sees quite a lot of women who probably fit into the category Yummy Mummy. Fairly young, attractive mothers of several children who wear clothes that look rather expensive.

I rather wonder if Yummy Mummies might be the sort of people that would opt for a shoes-off policy. They live very child-centred lives and tend to be very concerned about their children's health. Many of them have environmentalist leanings too. If they dont want their children to eat pesticides in their food, I would imagine they might not want pesticides walked onto their floors either.

I think the lady in the Sex and the City episode with the shoes-off rule seems like a Yummy Mummy type.

Any Yummy Mummies want to comment?

thanks for coming to visit my blog. i am not a yummy mummie b/c i do not have that kind of money however i have instilled the no shoe rule and have really stuck to it and what i do to really push it is when i go to a house of someone who would not take the shoes off before entering my house i take them off when i visit them and when they say oh do not worry i respond with oh yes i will b/c that is how i want it at my house. sort of subtle sort of not but it seems to work.

Heather, thankyou so much for visiting (my sister is called Heather, by the way).

Do you have that term 'Yummy Mummy' in the USA then?

I am glad you stick to the no-shoes rule.

I also usually take my shoes off when I visit other people. Do as you would be done by.

God Bless
