The Better Have: Leave your worries, and your shoes, at the door

The Better Have: Leave your worries, and your shoes, at the door

Now let’s do a simple exercise:

Raise your hand if you like to clean your floors…

Raise your hand if you like to dust…

Raise your hand if you want your floors getting marked up…

Raise your hand if you want poop tracked all over your house…

Do you see where I am going with this?

I've been watching old episodes of To the manor born. It was a BBC sitcom from the 70s set in the country.
It's interesting as all visitors to Mrs Forbes Hamilotns house all automatically remove their boots at the door. And walk around in socks. The setting is very upper middle class.
In Most to shoes people's always seems to waltz into houses with wet and muddy wellies.
I live in a rural area where everyone automatically kick their shoes/ boots off without asking. It's so much more relaxed than in the city.
And as I have always said. Taking shoes off at the door is nothing new here in the UK.
